Hangar

signet test · tokens here are test assets with no value; at the mainnet launch, alpha commanders' names, histories and ratings carry across, and alpha pass earners' units too (what carries across)

Your hangar keeps the units that come through a rated match against other players alive at Veteran rank or above, whichever way you sign in. Nothing comes here from games against the AI, so it is empty until your first unit comes home from a rated match. Give your units a callsign and take them into your next rated match. To mint one as a token, connect a wallet to your account: Horizon Wallet is the wallet that works on signet; XCP Wallet is mainnet-only.

Mint: price loading…

Minting runs on signet, Bitcoin's public test network, under the signet test label above. A unit at Veteran rank or above becomes HEXTREK.UXXXXXX, held in your own wallet. During the alpha, minting is free for everyone until the free period closes, and the price line above says until when; after that a mint is paid in HEXBITS, the game token of HEXTREK, which pays for minting and renaming units (here its signet test version). Prices are in HEXBITS, pegged to a US-dollar amount and recomputed hourly, and a quote holds for 60 minutes from the request. Mints on signet are test assets. Every alpha commander keeps their commander name, match history and an alpha participant badge on mainnet, and their rating carries across, eased halfway back towards the starting rating. Commanders who earn HEXTREK.ALPHATEST keep their full rating, and also keep their units, with their ranks, XP and perks; their units minted on signet are re-issued on mainnet free at the launch, to the mainnet form of the same wallet, with their alpha origin recorded in the certificate. Every other signet token stays in its signet wallet as a keepsake. Records from bugs or farming are voided. Horizon Wallet is the wallet that works on signet; XCP Wallet is mainnet-only. Press Mint on a unit: a free mint is queued at once; a paid one shows a Pay button, which sends the quoted HEXBITS from Horizon Wallet once you approve it there. If your wallet holds too little HEXBITS, Pay may offer Buy beside it, which buys the rest from the HEXBITS pool with XCP from the same wallet: approve the order in Horizon Wallet, and Pay goes ahead once a block fills it.

Upgrades

Each unit takes up to 2 upgrades. Not yet on sale: upgrades will be priced in HEXBITS, like every priced action, and need a connected wallet.
